WHERE IT ALL STARTED…
Back in Brazil, I was a chubby little kid who used to watch cartoons in his PJs on Saturday mornings while eating sugary cereal in bed. Not that hard to imagine the scene, right? Then, during the commercial break, a catchy ad started to play: a tall man with a remarkable face singing and dancing around. The guy was the spokesperson for a fast-fashion brand called C&A. I was in ecstasy, mimicking him around my room and picturing new scenarios where this man could say his memorable phrase. It was like a spark activating my creativity, and I remember feeling good.
In the summer of 2000, I had the chance to meet “the C&A guy” at a hotel with my family. So, here’s my thank you to Sebastian, probably the first person who inspired my career.
